National Trails Day
Saturday, June 3, 2017
Calling all volunteers!
Help improve the Cottonwood Canyons by assisting with new trail construction, rehabilitation, brush removal, an invasive weed pull, and litter clean-up. 100 vigorous volunteers needed. Participants must be 13 years or older for trail work, or 8 year or older for weed pull/litter clean-up. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. All necessary tools and instruction will be provided. Participants will receive a light breakfast & lunch.

Registration closes Thursday, June 1st at 5 PM.
Additional location details, instructions & parking information will be emailed to registered participants.
- 8:00 AM Breakfast and check-in begins
- 8:30 Welcome, Safety Talk, Work begins
- 1:00 PM Lunch
This project is supported in partnership by the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, Bonneville Shoreline Trail Committee, US Forest Service, REI, Wasatch Mountain Club, Salt Lake County, Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Legacy Project Partnership.
Required for work: Long pants, boots or other sturdy, close-toed shoes, and work gloves. Work gloves will be provided for those who need them. Please bring your own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, and other personal items as needed.
