Help Save our Trails!
Our beautiful trail system in Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons and surrounding areas is a resource we treasure! Whether we love to hike, run, mountain bike, climb, or just sit and reflect, our trails provide the access to the beautiful places we love in our mountains and to the activities we thrive on. But due to the their close proximity to the Salt Lake Valley, our trails also receive more use than almost anywhere else in the nation’s public lands.
Help us keep these trails in great shape so we can enjoy them, and the activities we love, for generations to come. Trail work is rigorous, but is an awesome opportunity to get outside, work hard, get dirty and make a difference! Organize a group of coworkers, friends, your community group or just come on your own!
Training and tools are provided. Please dress appropriately in sturdy boots, work clothes, and gloves. Be sure to bring water, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and get ready to have fun! Ages 13 and over.
Our crew is out on the trails May through October. Join us Tuesdays through Saturdays, or come out for special trail and restoration projects all summer. Registration required for all trail work.
