Self-Guided Wildflower Walk: Snowbird
Location: Snowbird, Utah
Located in the alpine area of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Snowbird’s Mineral Basin provides spectacular wildflower scenery. The best access for this is to ride the Snowbird Tram and walk through the basin, then hike back up to the Tram, or download on the Peruvian lift. When and Where to Observe Wildflowers?
Wildflowers in the Cottonwood Canyons can be observed from May to September, although peak wildflower season is typically during July. Individual species of wildflowers bloom at different times, making the wildflower landscape different every few weeks.
