2022 Canyons Fundraising Campaign

Your contributions provide invaluable support of the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation mission:
Supporting the Environment of the Cottonwood Canyons Through Stewardship and Education, via:

  • Naturalist education for thousands of learners – sharing important information on how to care for our unique watershed
  • Restorative trail maintenance and repair, and stabilizing rock work, on hundreds of miles of trails in the Tri-Canyons
  • Native plant revegetation and invasive weed mitigation on hundreds of acres of ecologically significant land
  • Engaging activities such as the Wasatch Wildflower Festival, Kids’ Days, and Stewardship Days for the whole community to enjoy

A CHALLENGE GRANT

The Tom and Barbara Lyon Family Foundation has generously offered a $10,000 challenge grant if we reach 150 donors during the campaign.
If $40,000 is raised for the Annual Appeal in 2022, the Foundation will contribute an additional $5,000!

On Saturday morning, to honor Earth Day, over 60 p On Saturday morning, to honor Earth Day, over 60 people came and pulled Garlic Mustard, an invasive weed that we’re trying hard to keep out of the Canyons. 

They totally rocked it! We can’t believe how much work got done-so dang cool! 😎
