The Adopt-A-Trail Program is a sponsorship program, embracing a long tradition of stewardship in the Cottonwood Canyons. The AAT was created both to help the Salt Lake Ranger District with basic trail maintenance within the Wasatch National Forest and to give motivated groups and companies the opportunity for hands-on stewardship of their public lands. The Adopt-A-Trail Program utilizes both direct stewardship via trail maintenance by sponsors and trail support via a donation that directly funds professional maintenance or trail construction performed by the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation Trail Crew. Based on the fundamentals of stewardship, the Adopt-A-Trail program allows corporations, family groups, and foundations to donate both financial resources and/or time to assist in maintaining and improving the trails throughout the tri-canyons via the following:
Adopt-A-Trail sponsorships start at $2,500 for a one-year adoption. Through individual, corporate or foundation sponsorships, the Adopt-A-Trail program provides opportunities for direct and meaningful impact of stewardship in the Cottonwood Canyons.
