DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays are for giving.\n\nOn Select Wednesdays this winter\, as part of Snowbird’s commitment to Play Forever\, Snowbird is teaming up with our guests to support local non-profits in a unique giveback program. \nLast February\, Snowbird launched its Play Forever giveback program\, where $5 of each ticket sold on qualifying Wednesdays is donated to a local non-profit. Over $13\,000 was given from just February 17\, 2021 to April 20\, 2021. This season\, we’re expanding the program and bringing in even more organizations. Together we can make a difference in our local community. \nFor each ticket sold\, Snowbird will donate $5\, guests will have the option to donate an additional amount. Play Forever Wednesday’s lift tickets can be purchased online or in-person at the Ticket Office. \nThis season Snowbird’s Play Forever Program will be broken into 3 categories: \n\nParticipation (January & February): Be a welcome place for all – including youth\, diverse populations and adaptive athletes – to participate in the adventure lifestyle.\nEnvironment (March): Support organizations that are focused on protecting the environment through sustainability\, education and action.\nLocal Relief (April): Provide localized aid to Utah communities in times of need.\n\nBuy Online \n\n$5 donated to local charities. \n\n\nCharity of The Week\nCottonwoods Canyon Foundation\nThe mission of Cottonwood Canyon Foundation is to continuously improve the environments of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons through education and stewardship programs. \n\nEVENT WEBSITE

DESCRIPTION:The Cottonwood Canyons Foundation invites you\, our fellow canyons’ lovers\, to become Friends of the Cottonwood Canyons today. Become a Friend and help us to raise $50\,000 by November 30th.  \nBecome a Friend: Donate Today! \nCCF’s work is tangible\, enduring and invaluable. Our impactful 2020 season included work on trails to Dog Lake\, Red Pine\, Millcreek Pipeline\, Mill B North\, and Albion Basin\, in addition to restoration at Silver Lake and the LCC Pavilion site. Countless acres of invasive species were removed and native plants cultivated. CCF engaged approximately 5\,764 students in environmental and stewardship education.Volunteer rangers reached over 4\,500 canyons’ visitors through our ski and snowshoe programs. Our Wasatch Wildflower Festival grew to 31 days of walks\, videos\, and wonder.
