SUMMARY:Tree Planting Day 2021
DESCRIPTION:Be a part of Alta’s busiest event of the season as we spend a burly day on the mountain planting up to 1\,000 seedlings. These seedlings are native to Alta and grown from handpicked seed from the mountainside. We will hike to different locations throughout Alta where we will be planting seedlings where we think they are most likely to survive. \nDid you know? Since 1991\, 40\,624 trees have been planted on Alta’s slopes. This is one of our biggest opportunities to connect with our community. With the help of volunteers\, we plant up to 1\,500 tree seedlings annually. \nLunch will be provided! \nFor more information and booking click here.
