Alta Ski Area
Alta Ski Area was one of the first ski areas to open in the United States and the second in the Western Ski Region. Alta is world-renowned for its steep and deep powder skiing—averaging 547” of snow each winter. Alta Ski Area is for skiers and restricts the use of equipment other than skis for anyone who wants to ride the lifts and ski the mountain or play around the base areas. Alta sports 2,538 feet of vertical, 2.614 skiable acres and 119 runs.

Town of Alta Restoration Day
Alta Ski Area 10010 Little Cottonwood Canyon Road, Alta, UTJoin the Alta community and help plant flowers, maintain trails, and pull weeds to beautify the Town of Alta and Alta Ski Area. We will be meeting at the Town Park near the Wildcat base area. For more information and booking click here.
