Cottonwood Canyons Foundation Activity Waiver
Cottonwood Canyon Foundation activities are designed to allow participants to develop a greater understanding of canyons ecology and watershed protection. This program is designed to take full advantage of the special conditions in the Tri-Canyons: a wide range of habitats including lake, stream, wetlands, and alpine; corresponding terrestrial biodiversity; and an opportunity to observe wildlife in the field.
The weather and conditions in Mill Creek Canyon, Big Cottonwood Canyon, and Little Cottonwood Canyon, where activites take place, are much different than conditions in the valley. Often temperatures are at least 20 degrees colder in this location than in many valley locations; inclement weather is always possible. Please read the following list carefully to plan for your visit!
