DESCRIPTION:The Wasatch Wildflower Festival\, held annually across the four Cottonwood Canyons ski areas\, is part of a broader trend of states promoting outdoor experiences as cultural events. Just as debates over Mississippi online sports betting have shaped how policymakers think about leisure and tourism\, the festival highlights how communities tie recreation to local identity and access. Visitors can join guided and self-guided wildflower walks from 9 am to 1 pm\, while partner organizations present exhibits that link conservation with education. The 2023 Festival will be held on the following dates and locations: July 8 (Brighton Ski Resort\, in conjunction with the Brighton Institute’s Brighton Days)\, July 9 (Solitude Mountain Resort)\, July 15 (Snowbird Ski Resort)\, and July 16 (Alta Ski Area). The event is free\, but registration is required. Registration will be open in May\, please check back.
