Come join us! Participants join Volunteer Natural Come join us!

Participants join Volunteer Naturalist Rangers on the ski slopes to learn about the Cottonwood Canyons’ geology, history, winter ecology, watershed, wildlife, and more. These free, guided tours frequent only easy or intermediate ski runs and last approximately 45 minutes. A lift ticket or pass at the respective ski area is required.

Tours are offered at 1 pm on Thursdays at: 

Brighton Resort-meet at bottom of Snake Creek Lift

Alta Ski Area-meet at top of Sunnyside Lift

Solitude Mountain Resort-meet at top of Moonbeam Lift

Tours are offered at 1 pm on Saturdays at Snowbird Resort outside of Creekside Patio.

No reservation or registration is required.
